Inspired by Richie Hatwin’s DE9: Transitions, a mix exploring Ableton Live’s capacity to synchronise and mix multiple tracks simultaneously, I though about what it might sound like to mix vocals from one track with beats, bass lines and melodies, etc from others. This mix is a reconstruction of a set I did at Tokyo Bar in Newcastle using 4 tracks in Ableton.
